Cyst Removal and Treatment
Have your cysts removed for just £299
Our expert surgeons and dermatologists have performed thousands of cyst removals and they have decades of experiences making them the top choice for patients looking for cyst removal in London.
Some of the cysts we treat include:
- Sebaceous Cysts
- Pilar Cysts
- Epidermoid Cysts
- Bartholin’s Cysts
There's no real way of effectively treating a cyst using oral medication or creams, etc. It requires surgical removal, and in terms of surgical removal a shave or a laser or anything aside from an excision removal (meaning it's cut out) doesn't work. Unlike the removal of other skin lesions, stitches will always be required, and cutting the skin will no doubt leave some kind of mark (after the wound is completely sealed and stitches have been removed). As a result, it's important to have this procedure done by specialists. All our Doctors who you'll see for surgery are highly experienced in scar minimisation techniques and work for London's leading hospitals and trusts such as UCL's Royal Free and Imperial College hospitals.
It is important to be aware of all the methods used for removing a cyst. Whilst other clinics employ GP’s to perform these procedures, we prefer it to be a Skin surgeon or Dermatologist. Some clinics will advocate methods which burst the cyst and then squeeze the contents out of your skin. Our methods aim to remove the ENTIRE cyst intact as a ball thereby reducing risk of infection, spreading of the cyst contents and reduces the risk of recurrence – we often see patients who have had their cysts removed at other clinics only for them to reappear. We have amongst the lowest recurrence rates due to the specialist techniques our skilled team employ. In addition to the scar minimisation techniques, you should be left with a small mark which fades over time. Cysts can recur so it is important to choose the right method of removal to avoid disappointment later.
